Just an average burger on a bad bun. It's not horrible but it's not great . Fries are descent. When u pay around 10 bucks for a burger , fry and coke average isn't what I want.

Simply one of the best places for great service and dang good burgers. Glad to see a place that does something and does it great! Well done.

What a real American cheeseburger should taste like! Also known as Butcher Boy burgers in Russellville.

Delicious burgers and fries, fries, fries. Fries while you wait plus refills. One of my all time favorite burgers.

The meat is the star of the burgers at David's Burgers. They are a welcome addition to Little Rock's burger joints and didn't disappoint. The burgers are made from never frozen chuck and weigh in at 1/3 lb. per patty. A double combo will satisfy a hearty appetite. They also have salads for the less burger inclined and a tasty frozen custard desert. You come here for the beef and it is good. I'll be back.

I love burgers from David's Burgers. It's always so juicy and well seasoned, and with unlimited fries, the price is great! The location at the mall is the place I usually go to since it's closer to my workplace, but when I make it out to Bowman, they're always on par when it comes to customer service.

I'd never even heard of this chain before moving to little rock. It reminded me of a Steak 'N' Shake, but better. They free french fries while you wait?!? I'm sold. The free ice cream samples?!?! I'm sold. The staff were friendly, prompt, and got my order right. What more can you want?!

  • Phronsie D.

Yummy. The bun-less steakburger was delicious. It was seasoned perfectly. The fries are delicious. Can't wait to eat here again.

After reading all the great reviews on this place, I guess I had high expectations. When I walked in, the place was packed. I placed my order (#2) and found one of the few empty tables. Employees were hustling about clearing tables, delivering food, bringing out fry and drink refills, and just making themselves available. The service is great. The food? Meh. The burger looked beautiful. Two juicy beef patties, melting cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions. Toasted bun. A piece of art. I bite into it and my tongue recoils in salty shock. Lots of reviews rave about the seasoning. Blech. It's as if I poured seasoned salt onto my tongue. The patties were all juicy on the exterior and dry on the interior. Did the moisture leach out? Condiments were very necessary for this burger. For a comparison, read my review of The Charcoal Oven in OKC. Sorry Dave's, your hamburger doesn't compare. I read the negative reviews as well, for background. No wonder the writers were disappointed. I gave Dave's an extra star for their outstanding service and employees, and another star for having the cutest girls in Little Rock working there - they tempered my disappointment.

Receive great service from the time we walked in. The burgers were good and you can't beat the endless fries!

  • Amy F.

Hands down, the best burger in Little Rock. The fries are fresh and burgers are made to order. Yum!

    (5)
  • Rhett B.

I will never go to 5 Guys again in Little Rock after discovering this place. If you like a big greasy hamburger made with fresh ground chuck...this is it. Not as many toppings as 5 Guys but The burger is real good and greasy. That's not the best part of this place. They give homemade endless fries and they brew their own tea unlike 5 Guys who give you a bag of fries and use the Gold Peak insta junk. This place also gives free samples of Bluebell ice cream. But the best part of David's was the service and atmosphere. It seems like everyone who works here enjoys working there and wants to be here. The service will refill your drinks, welcome you with a big "Welcome to David's! ", and bring you more fries. Not to mention this place has a jukebox that blared out oldies over the entire place. You may leave feeling unhealthy but you will leave with lifted spirits.

Best burgers in Little Rock! Great service, great price, great fries! Very simple menu, fair price for toppings, with most of them free. Very fresh and we'll cooked burgers.

Easily the best burger Little Rock has to offer! Everything is made fresh, but so worth the wait!

My eleven year old son asked for a burger and he mentioned David's so I thought why not. Hamburgers are not my thing because they're usually tasteless and disappointing, but David's is anything but. I can honestly say that was the best hamburger I've ever had. We've had Five Guys and In and Out Burger but David's blows them both away in taste and quality. The fries alone are worth a trip. We did the drive-thru and everything was exactly as ordered. My son had the double burger, which looked like it could feed three people, and sure enough he couldn't finish it. He sure did try though. I know if we have out of town guests, this is where I'll take them.

"We should have went to David's" is what We end up saying 8 out of 10 times when we try somewhere new around here! We LOVE this place & we eat her more than anywhere else in Little Rock. This is one of the few places around that doesn't use MSG in their food. The burgers are top notch, AMAZING and the fries are very yummy too. I love the unlimited fries when you eat in, this makes it so your fries never get cold no matter how many you want to enjoy. They are all very friendly and the service is great, much better than in places where I have spend 2 to 3 times as much. GO, EAT, ENJOY!!!

  • Rhonda M.

The burger meat is fantastic. By far I think my most favorite when it comes to the simple flavor of meat. I would still rank Big Orange above David's bc of the diversity of the menu, but this is still one of my top picks to go for a burger. Definitely better than the gut bomb that is Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

    (4)
  • Kaye B.

The burger was yumtastic. I like the seasoning that they put on the burgers. I also like the service. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. I will definitely go back to this place. I didn't think that it was overly expensive either given the quality of the food.

    (4)
  • Brian D.

Good burger. Not great, but good. I liked that you could tell it was fresh and not frozen. Wasn't crazy about the fries and if I had known they walk around giving them free I wouldn't have ordered the combo.

    (3)
  • Carlos M.

The burgers are good but overpriced, way overpriced ,the fries are a little soggy ,paid $9.00 for a single with cheese and the drink was kid's size.

    (3)
  • Tara J.

Burgers always taste boiled to me, no flavor whatsoever. I don't even like the endless fries. It just doesn't make up for a crappy tasteless burger

    (1)
  • J B.

I was pleasantly surprised to eat at one of the best burgers in my Little Rock burger joint journey. The meat was perfectly loose, indicating freshness, well-seasoned, and finished with a crispy, tasty meaty crust. It was even more savory than a Big Orange burger, and the fries are superb. Do eat here unless you have a craving for truffle oil on your fries.

    (5)
  • Bedsaida G.

Great place to eat. This was my first time eating here the burger was delicious, juicy and flavorful. The buns were a little bit greasy, but the bread was soft and warm. The wait for our food was for about 10 minutes, but they brought some complementary fries while we waited. The staff was constantly checking on us making sure we were all right. They even refill your cup when you're out if drink! Over all a great place if you want fast food and exceptional customer service.

    (5)
  • Andrew H.

Rarely do I say something is the best I've ever had, but seriously, this is the best burger I've ever put in my mouth, hands down. The unlimited fresh fries are a plus. Kids love it as well.

  • Taryn S.

For health reasons I try not to eat too many burgers nowadays, at least not beef burgers. But this burger right here? It's worth the hype. If you've ever eaten here and had a bad experience, I think you need to give it another chance, they must've had a bad day, or you eat way too much Mcdonald's on the regular and have forgotten what a real hamburger tastes like, pure and simple. I've only been to the Markham location because it was close to my regional's office. After trying this darn burger (and the fries) for the first time, I knew I could not visit this place on the regular or I'd be hooked. These burgers have good griddle flavor, handmade/homemade taste and texture, and the David's sauce on a burger with the works? Priceless. David's sauce with ketchup and fries is also impressive because the fries come out hot, tossed in season all. Great service inside and out. Haven't had the custard; probably would have to camp outside if I did.

  • John O.

My first impression was this place looks a lot like In N' out burger. The combos were simple but more than twice the amount of an In N' out. After having the reg combo almost $9 after tax, I'm not very impressed with the price. The burger on the other hand was bland and had very little taste to it. I've also tried the chicken sandwich and was surprised to see that instead of a filet of chicken breast being used they take chunks of meat then smash them together on the grill with a meat press to form a single piece of meat. Even worse try to imagine McDonald's taking 4 mc nuggets and smashing them together when you order a chicken sandwich. It's just not going to be the same.

Yum! Not only do I love to seek out good BBQ, I also love a good burger. David's is definitely a great burger! The beef is amazing, in fact on my next trip I will be just getting a Hamburger Steak with Cheddar Cheese. There was just enough grease to make it a good burger, but was NOT dripping in it... I love the fact that they have decided to pick ONE thing and become the best they can be at it. The menu is simple, and the service is superb! Mario greeted me with a hello and EVERY staff member had a smile on their face. I didn't feel like a customer, or number on the table, I felt I was a friend of David's... They offered my fries as I waited, was checked on frequently, offered a refill on both drinks and fries...ohhh those amazing fries... This is definitely worth a try if you enjoy a great burger.

    (5)
  • Susan B.

I've eaten here several times, and always been pleased with the service. This time, while promptly greeted as I walked in, and also told to have a nice day on my way out, there were no fries while waiting, and none offered after initial plate with burgers and fries delivered to table. So I'm thinking - are the unlimited fries just during regular lunch or dinner hours? Maybe I could have asked for more - I don't know - I've just never had to ask for more fries; usually I turn down more fries than accept since they offered with such frequency! I just know - next time I've skipped lunch and want to eat around 3 pm, I won't go here.

  • ARfood E.

Everyone here is SUPER FRIENDLY - A+! The burger was okay, but just okay. I thought it a bit greasy. Although the staff is nice they expend way too much energy on pushing fries. When i didn't want the combo, i got a weird look. I saw a lot of people throwing away fries - at least 6 during my 45 minute visit. Maybe if they weren't free and more time and effort was put into them so they weren't so limp they could be something you didn't mind paying for. My dining partner enjoyed his burger very much. Overall the experience was good...probably a great place to take a big group of big eaters.....just didn't make me think/say 'i would love to go back there sometime' on the way home.

    (2)
  • Susan J.

Always consistent service and food. Burgers are some of the best in town and fries are great! Staff is friendly and efficient...bringing hot fries to your table and refilling drinks as needed. The prices are average as well. Nothing fancy here just reliable service and food!

    (5)
  • El T.

Top notch! Incredible burger and fries done right! Unlimited fries and really good service, who needs more? David's puts the competition to shame, yes IT IS that good. If you are hungry get the double and enjoy the extra beefy goodness. This is one place that you can not go wrong, ever.

  • eric p.

i love this place. when i really want a good, no BS burger, i come here. they grind up their meat fresh from steak cuts. no filler. no junk. no fancy sides. just unlimited fries and a big ass greasy burger on a solid bun.

    (5)
  • John B.

If you like freshly ground, big, juicy/greasy and somewhat flavorless artery clogging burgers, then go here for lunch. I do like this up and coming place better than Five Guys, though that ain't saying much, since I don't really see the draw of Five Guys or understand why that company is so popular. MUCH better than Cheeburger-Cheeburger, though by a LONG shot.

    (3)
  • Corrie R.

Clean and friendly, fast service. The burger and fries were good. It is a lot like Five Guys in the layout and choices, but much MUCH tastier. They were totally out of ice cream, but we'll be back to try it when we are in the area.

First impression: smells amazing from the outside. Second impression: the service is really friendly. The cashier who took my order then saw me eyeing the custard and she stepped over to give me a sample. All of the employees seemed to be that service-oriented. The concept is similar to Five Guys or Cheeburger Cheeburger but there are far fewer toppings to choose from. I got the kid's-size burger which wasn't that small at all. The burger is flavored with lots of different spices. I guess this is one thing that is supposed to differentiate David's from other burgers. The restaurant is also a butcher shop, or butcher shop-themed, so the meat is probably intended to be extra fresh also, but I couldn't determine that through all of the spices. The taste is good but it took me having a burger at another local place (which I've reviewed) to realize that this was only a 3 or 4 star burger for me. The fries were a little greasy and not a lot crunchy. The vanilla custard was good but not irresistibe. I would try David's again with other people who wanted to go, but I might not go back for take out just for myself.

Absolutely the best Burger and Fries in this area. Freshly cut French Fries, seriously good ground meat, and great buns. Condiments fresh cut tomatoes and onions...seems there are no cut corners at this place!

Fresh meat and fresh cut potatoes plus frozen custard and (oh did I mention) STELLAR customer service. Go for a salad if you are not a carnivore, as the service is some of the best around for the quick serve style. Fresh cut fries whilst you wait, and as a standard with the combo...fresh meat, displayed right in the deli case in the front...quick service and amazing combo options. YUM!

YUM!
